The Nootropic range started with a question: what if the functional power of adaptogens and medicinal plants could be delivered through a REAL living kombucha rather than a capsule or powder? The answer is this range — slow fermented for 30 days with botanicals integrated before sealing, so the active compounds become part of the living brew.

Every active botanical — Sceletium, Lion's Mane, Passion Flower, Ginseng — is integrated before the second fermentation. This allows the compounds to become part of the living brew over 30 days rather than sitting on top of it as an extract or finishing addition.
Pasteurisation kills everything — cultures, acids, and botanical activity. We never apply heat, so the functional compounds and living cultures in every bottle remain active when they reach you. REAL kombucha the way it was always meant to be made.

Yellow — Sceletium Honeybush. A calming honeybush tea base with Sceletium (Kanna), a South African indigenous herb traditionally associated with mood uplift and emotional balance. May help support calm focus and a sense of ease. Purple — Yerba Mate, Lion's Mane and Ginseng. A Yerba Mate base with Lion's Mane mushroom and Ginseng. May help support mental clarity, focus and sustained natural energy without a crash. Blue — Butterfly Pea Tea, Passion Flower and Blue Lotus. A white tea base with Butterfly Pea flower, Passion Flower and Blue Lotus. May help support relaxation, inner stillness and a meditative state.
Sceletium tortuosum, also known as Kanna, is an indigenous South African succulent plant used traditionally to support mood and emotional wellbeing. It contains alkaloids — including mesembrine — that may gently support serotonin pathways. At the levels used in Tea of Life, it is considered safe for healthy adults. We do not recommend it for people on antidepressants or SSRIs without first consulting their doctor.
Yes. Many of our customers enjoy one bottle daily as part of their wellness routine. The Nootropic range is available in 340ml bottles only. As with all adaptogens, some people prefer to rotate between blends or cycle days on and off. Listen to your body and find a rhythm that works for you.
Yes. Every bottle in the Nootropic range is brewed with the same slow fermentation process, the same SCOBY culture, and the same uncompromising no-pasteurisation standard as the classic range. The functional botanicals are added before sealing, allowing the second fermentation to integrate them into the living brew.
If you are new to the range, the Mixed Box is the best place to start — it gives you all three blends so you can experience each one and find what works for you. As a general guide: Yellow in the morning for calm focus, Purple in the afternoon for mental energy, Blue in the evening for stillness and wind-down.
Yes. The Blue blend contains Passion Flower at 1700mg and Blue Lotus at 850mg — among the highest botanical doses in the range. It is the most sedative blend and is best enjoyed in the evening. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery after consumption. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice. Consult your doctor if you are on any prescription medication.
